Prerequisites:

Students are required to have passed Biology I.

Purpose:

This class is designed as a continuation of Biology I. For the first part of the year, students will receive a comprehensive review of Biology I topics.

Description:

This course focuses on organisms, biodiversity, plant and animal systems, and relationships between organisms and their environments wit ha review of topics discussed in Biology I. Students will be doing some type of special project for each unit covered during the semester.

Requirements:

Grades will be assigned based on daily work, homework, research projects, oral presentations, dissections, labs, quizzes and tests. The final exam will be worth 10% of the student’s grade.
