Purpose:
This course is designed to provide 9th grade students with a hands-on, academic opportunity to explore topics in Earth Science, Physics, Chemistry, and Environmental Science.

Description:
The course focuses on the Geology of the Earth and the forces that affect and shape our world. Individual units in Chemistry and Physics are also interjected into the curriculum. Students also prepare an environment project throughout the semester and present the project at the end of the class.

Requirements:
The students must be willing to cooperate and conduct themselves in a mature and responsible manner due to the nature of the labs. Students are required to purchase a binder for their lab packets. The final exam will be worth 10% of the student’s grade
