Prerequisites:
A student must attain an “A” in Computer Science II as the final grade, and the recommendation of the Computer Science II teacher.

Purpose:
This course is designed to review and hone a student’s computer skills in a collegiate environment.

Description:
In a rigorous academic environment, students will develop large programs using Java programming language, and prepare for the AP exam. Students will be taught in a rigorous manner to prepare them for the college experience. Also, they will be tutored in test taking strategies and go over the material selected for the AP Exam in Computer Science.

Requirements:
All students must complete a prerequisite assignment before the first day of class. Grades will be assigned based on quizzes, exams, and programs. Students must be self-motivated and serious about obtaining collegiate credit. Students should have access to a home computer or have time available after school. All students will be required to take the AP Exam, a final exam may be given at the discretion of the teacher.
