Prerequisites:
Algebra II and Geometry

Purpose:
This course is designed to prepare students for college level statistics courses by covering topics such as data description, analysis of data,distributions, sampling, correlation & regression, and analysis of variance.

Description:
This course focuses on elementary probability and statistics. Statistics will be used to solve everyday situations and other numerical problems. Also, the ideas of statistics will be applied to a variety of subject areas.

Requirements:
Grades will be assigned based on daily activities, homework, notebook, projects, quizzes, and tests. The final exam will be worth 10% of the student’s grade.
