This course is designed to develop skills necessary in the study of Literature.

The primary focus of this course is to improve all areas of literature study including studying and applying vocabulary, writing responses to literature, and reading fiction and nonfiction. The primary resources are the literature text book, PSSA practice selections, novels, and nonfiction resources.

Students are evaluated using essay tests, projects, various reading and writing assignments, discussion, book reports, quizzes, and a final exam worth 10% of the final grade.
