Dual Enrollment

Dual enrollment provides students the opportunity to earn college credits while in high school for a fraction of the cost. Currently Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), Mount Aloysius College, Penn Highlands Community College, St. Francis University, and Westmoreland County Community College partner with United School District in offering dual enrollment opportunities to our students.

IUP: Students can take courses at IUP or online at a significant discount.

Mount Aloysius College:  Students taking AP Chemistry, AP Biology, AP Physics II, and/or Honors Human Physiology at United can obtain credits through Mount Aloysius.

Penn Highlands Community College: Students can obtain college credit when taking  Intermediate Computer, AP Economics, Government/Civics, Honors Government/Civics, Honors US History I, US History II, Biology, Honors Biology I, Honors Algebra II/Trig, College Algebra/Trig, AP Calculus, Painting and Ceramics, French 3 & 4, Honors Chemistry I, and/or Honors Chemistry II at United High School.
