Purpose:

This course is designed to build a foundation for understanding the world of the past, present, and future.

Description:

This course will explore the government, geography, history, and economics of the eastern hemisphere. The development of an accurate mental map of the world and the establishment of a basic vocabulary will be focal points for building a foundation for understanding the world of the past, present, and future.

Requirements:

Students are evaluated using unit tests, quizzes, homework assignments, worksheets, class discussions, study guides, class work, and a final exam worth 10% of the final grade.
