This course is designed to expose students to the science of psychology’s history and the cause/effect of human behaviors on society.
This course focuses on the early fundamentals of basic introductory psychology. Students will explore the school of thought of different psychologists, theories, and psychological methods. Special emphasis will be put on the study of consciousness, learning, intelligence, personality disorders and psychological testing.
Grades will be assigned based on homework, announced quizzes, chapter tests, class participation, group work, and surveying. The final exam will be worth 10% of the student’s grade.
