#1415 INTERNATIONAL STUDIES NCAA Approved

This course is designed to expose students to major geographic regions of the world and the people and events that have and continue to shape those regions.
This class will examine the increasingly interdependent world of today. Such topics as politics, business and economics, cultural studies and environmental issues will be covered. In addition, the history of each region will be studied to explain why current situations exist today.
Grades will be assigned based on daily activities, homework, quizzes, group work, tests, and in-class essays. The final exam will be worth 10% of the student’s grade.
