Purpose:

This course is designed to focus on historical events and people in the United States from 1950-present.

Description:

This course addresses the social, economic, political and military aspects of the United States from the start of the Cold War to the present. The course will emphasize the important people, issues, and events of the latter half of the 20th century through our present day.

Grades will be assigned based on daily activities, quizzes, homework, tests, research projects, and classroom presentations. The final exam will be worth 10% of the student’s grade.
