Vocational Agriculture Department
The courses offered through our Vocational Agriculture program provide our students with the opportunity to explore the Agriculture industry on both the local, state and national level. Students can explore mechanical courses including Welding and Small Gasoline Engines or become involved with production courses including Introduction to Horticulture or Agriculture Science. Students can also expand their knowledge of Animal Science through the two offered courses. All of the agriculture courses can be related to entrepreneurship and agricultural business through the Agri-business/Work Experience course. Students are also entitled and encouraged to utilize the annual membership in the National FFA Organization. FFA strives to develop student potential through premier leadership, personal growth and career success. Students will also have an opportunity to receive a certificate as a completer in Agriculture Production General and to receive a college credit recommendation report.
