Purpose:

This course is designed to introduce students to the skills needed to design a cabin, single story residence, dream home and a commercial business floor plan and a wall section.  Building codes will be reviewed.

Description:

The student will develop plans, identify the parts and materials used in a building, and explain the purpose of each plan. Auto Desk’s AutoCAD (computer aided drafting) and Revit will be used exclusively.

Requirements:

Grades will be assigned based on various assessments, drawings and understanding of building codes.
