Purpose:
This course is designed to provide students with an opportunity to enhance their physical fitness through a team sport oriented competitive environment.

Description:
In this course, students will work on improving fitness through competitive team sports. Weekly, students will compete in a team sport geared toward enhancing fitness and demonstrating sportsmanship through competition. The environment in this class will be competitive, high paced and energetic. Students will also learn the importance of team work, cooperation, sport etiquette, and sportsmanship (win or lose) and how this aspect can impact team performance. Possible sports will include: basketball, speed ball, floor hockey, volleyball, team handball, cage ball, soccer, ultimate Frisbee and flag football.

Requirements:
Appropriate gym clothes and shoes.
