Purpose:
This course is designed for the student who does not enjoy sports but wants to improve fitness and improve body image.

Description:
Students will be involved in stretching and power walking 4 days per week. Various ways to alternate walking routines, times and schedules will also be studied. For this class, pedometers and heart rate monitors will be utilized. Throughout the nine-weeks, students will record their distances and be required to increase their speed of walk each week.

Requirements:
Appropriate gym clothes and shoes.
