Purpose:
This course is designed to introduce students to the proper use of various machines used in lifting and well as free weights.

Description:
Students will be taught how to structure a workout routine and how to break up a workout so as not to overload certain muscle groups. They will also begin to understand the difference between lifting for the purpose of muscle tone and lifting for muscle mass. Students will work through various workouts daily in this course. A record will be kept of daily workouts and progress being made.

Requirements:
Appropriate gym clothes and shoes.
