Purpose:
This course is designed to teach students how to apply accounting procedures and concepts using the personal computer and one of the most popular general ledger software packages used by small and medium sized businesses.

Description:
Using QuickBooks Pro®, students will apply accounting concepts and principles while developing a proficiency with computerized accounting systems that incorporates the use of general ledger entries, accounts payable entries, accounts receivable entries, and payroll entries.

Grades will be assigned based on daily assignments, quizzes, projects, chapter tests, and ability to learn and utilize the computerized
accounting software
