This course is designed to provide students with an understanding of running a small business.
This class will provide the information and foundational decision-making skills to start a small business and make it grow. Learning the fundamentals of small business management will increase consumer awareness and knowledge of business operations which will aid students in their personal and professional lives. Students will examine the parts of a business plan and why it is necessary to the success of beginning a small business venture.
Grades will be assigned based on exercises, quizzes, projects, tests, and ability to participate in group assignments.
